Guest Speaker Hunter Henry

Former Razorback and current NFL tight end
Hunter Henry attended Pulaski Academy in Little Rock, Arkansas where he started varsity football for three seasons, winning a state championship in 2011. Henry would go on to be named to the Parade All-American team for the 2012-13 school-year and was one of the top recruits in the nation according to multiple recruiting services. Weighing multiple options, Henry chose to attend the University of Arkansas where his father was a four-year letterman for the Razorbacks from 1987-1991.

Henry would go on to a successful career with the Razorbacks with accolades consisting of Freshman All-American (2013), 3 x All-SEC (2013, 2014, 2015), Consensus All-American (2015), and the John Mackey Award (2015) given to the nation’s top tight end. The Razorback program would experience great success during Henry’s time, winning back-to-back bowl games in consecutive years for the first time in program history. Henry was ultimately selected as the first tight end in the 2016 NFL Draft when he was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the second round (35th overall)

On June 30, 2018, Hunter married his girlfriend of three years, Parker Schmidly.
